ChefBoard Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 29, 2026 · tellstocks.com

This policy describes how the ChefBoard Android app (“the app”), published by TellStocks, handles information. The app helps you build a visual ingredient board and generate recipe ideas with AI.

Summary

Information stored on your device

ChefBoard keeps your cooking workspace locally, including:

This data is stored in the app’s local storage on your device. We do not operate a user account or cloud sync for your ingredient board in the current version of the app.

Information sent when you generate recipes

When you tap to generate recipes, the app sends an HTTPS request to our API at api.tellstocks.com. The request may include:

The app does not send passwords, payment details, or OpenRouter API keys. API keys exist only on the server.

How our server and OpenRouter use data

Our server validates your request, may reuse an in-memory cache for identical requests during active processing, and sends the ingredient and filter content needed for recipe generation to OpenRouter, a third-party AI API provider. OpenRouter processes the request according to its own privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We use the API to provide recipe generation for the app you requested.

What we do not collect in the app

Children

ChefBoard is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Security

Recipe requests use HTTPS between the app and api.tellstocks.com. Keep your device software up to date and avoid sharing your phone with untrusted parties.
